Undisclosed Tech Company

  • This was a 100% custom solution for this customer. Every component had to reflect the design methodology and quality that this customer holds themselves to. The integrated design of walls and furniture (Teknion Demountable Walls + Height-Adjustable Tables) had to have the ability to adjust and adapt to 52 differing functional workflows. When it came to installation, there were 3,000 trades on-site working around us.

We applied our can-do, will-do attitude to make the situation viable. A cohesive team from manufacturing to installers was able to flex and adjust our schedule to suit the client’s ever-shifting construction schedule.

LEED building standards, WELL certified – Teknion provided detailed information and reports based on the requirements. In addition to providing standard products, Teknion, CIBC, and the design firm worked collaboratively to customize product details to fit unique client functional needs. This involved a comprehensive refresh of furniture and space standards, incorporating new ways to work in a more collaborative and WELL-focused environment.

Teknion’s site delivery team consisted of 3 autonomous delivery teams plus a ‘floater’ team to maximize the installation of each floorplate. Managing the production—from raw material stockpiling through to efficient truckload deliveries to site—were all key practices to deliver this project.
