Ceiling and Floor Attachment

  • Ceiling channel attaches to the ceiling and supports the vertical posts

  • The ceiling clip is a non-permanent way to attach ceiling channel to the suspended ceiling

  • Base Channel is the horizontal framework of all wall assemblies

  • Gap tape is provided along the underside of the base channel to add stability and an acoustic barrier without mechanical attachments to the floor

POWER CONNECTIONS

  • Power is provided to Altos walls by a building junction box provided by others

  • The Power Data Starter Cable connects to the building’s junction box by a certified electrician.  Cables are fed from the ceiling or from access floors through cut outs in the ceiling or base channels to the Power Data Modules.

  • Four-Way Splitters connect to the starter cable and allow daisy chaining as well as back to back

  • Power Data Connecting Harness can be specified to link modulus or passing through panels without receptacles

  • Modules can be mounted back to back to provide power to adjacent offices.

  • Reaching other power locations can be accomplished by adding an In-line connector to lengthen the infeed power harness when is end of run, single sided.

  • Power can be accessed through the use of power modules, which are mounted on Fascia’s at 18” height, or 33”AFF.  That is below or above the worksurface respectively (standard cut out locations).  Power Data Modules are mounted from behind the fascia by fastening to the fascia.

Teknion is able to integrate room scheduling devices into any of our glass front architectural wall systems, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics in modern office spaces, and providing a sleek and unobtrusive interface for booking and managing room usage.

TECHNOLOGY PANEL

Teknion provides custom solutions for a clients’ technology needs.   Our Tech Panel can be added to our Altos, Focus, & Optos system to provide locations for mounting light switches, room schedulers, signage and even power.  

The exterior fascias can be ordered in laminate, wood veneer or fabric finishes.  The details here show a custom solution for Walmart.
